The Annual General Meeting of the Mile End Parent Council and the Mile End Parent Teacher Association took place on Wednesday 16 September.

The Mile End PTA met again on Wednesday 17 April and discussed a full agenda. Planning is well under way for a number of events this term. The PTA will participate in the Primary 1 Induction evening on 12 June, prior to which members will be on hand to meet with parents attending the Parents Evenings at the end of April. The main event of the term will be the annual summer picinic with Highland Games featuring as this this year’s theme. Planning is well under way for this event which will include a range of activities, games, refreshments and competitions – all with a Highland Games theme.
Volunteers to support the picinic are required to help with a range of tasks setting up, helping at the event and tidying up. Even if you can spare half an hour, your participation is vital to make this event a success.
Raffle prizes are also requested along with donations for the bottle and chocolate tombolas. Please consider what support you can give, and contact the PTA via the following email – email@example.com
Further to our earlier email cascade regarding PTA fund irregularities, we can confirm that this is now a police investigation and not a topic that can be discussed by members of the MEPC.
However, we are delighted and encouraged by the response from parents to be part of the PTA and we welcome your support. The plan is to move ahead and get a strong team working on the PTA to deliver the fabulous fund raising events that the children, teachers and parents enjoy taking part in.
