MEPC aims to meet twice a term and we also hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September, near the start of the new school year. Generally, meetings are on a Wednesday – they start at 7pm and aim to be finished by 9pm. Meetings are held in the Meeting Room next to the Staff Room. If the door is not open when you arrive you may need to ring the duty janitor (his mobile number is posted at reception) to be let in.

Usually, a week or so before the meeting, PC members are asked for agenda items and a reminder is sent to all parents about the meeting – any parent can attend meetings. Agenda items are normally a combination of on-going issues from previous meetings and any other items that may have come up since the last meeting – either raised through parents via the yahoo mail account or discussed in the playground or because a particular situation has arisen. Once the agenda has been drafted it is then circulated to PC members. After the meeting the minutes are typed up and circulated to all PC members and are also posted on the noticeboard outside the Parents Room in school and on the website for all parent forum members to view.
